Colonial Architectural Tradition.

Architectural describe a country or a specific place. It is part of a place identity. Also it establishes the facilities in the population.

For example, in Egypt the houses have a square architectural and most are of adobe. In contrast with the houses in the South America Amazon, there the houses are made of straw and simple. Such houses identified those specific places; also the population is accustomed to live in this type of structures without any problems.

Architecture of a country and the population manners can’t switch quickly. Therefore is better no change the traditional architecture of a country to foreign architecture. This would lose an identity of country.

Also, is probably that the population no react well to change and the state lose money and time on this. Therefore, is better continue with a traditional architecture. This is love identity of country and ourselves like a residents.

Escats Concert

The Escats is a band and it is an excellent national group. Besides the good music that they have, the band integrants are really sociable and friendly. It is notorious watching the fellowship between them.

Personally I have always liked the genre that Escats plays. Their music is interesting and every song has a great sentiment behind. It’s the reason of why Escats is one of the few good bands of Costa Rica.

Finally, I believe that the concert was a success. I liked that they played old and new songs. I think that Escats is a “tico” proud and I hope that they continue reaping success.

Warriors without Weapons

Like we know, the wars in the world only bring death, destruction and damage to humanity. This is the product of human selfishness and the lack of wisdom. Also it is product of the bad government of those countries inmerse in war.

We really are fortunate. Because in Costa Rica we don’t have an army. This makes Costa Rica privileged compared to other countries of the world.

However, I think that the work performed by these volunteers is extraordinary. They may suffer damage like someone soldier, although they are neutral in their position.

My position is against of war. The wars brings many social problems. If there isn’t war maybe would not exist hunger in the world and neither hatred between persons.

Privacy

The privacy is a right that we have. It is necessary, in our families, with our couple and in our workplace. However, sometimes, this not happens by different reasons.

An example of this loss of privacy is between couples. Is common that between couples check the cell phone or email of the other person. Also is common the dependence between persons, so they always want stay together. This eliminates the privacy between couples.

In the family, most parents always try know all about their children. So they check all the things that they have or use. This is important because the parents can correct if something isn’t good. However, the children need privacy too.

On the other hand, many companies are using video cam to control employees. It is good to find anomalies in the company; however I think that anyone who is being observed will always be restless. Finally I think that people should have privacy, because the lack of privacy causes frustration.

Spiritual Renewal and religions in the world.

Spiritual Renewal and religions in the world.

Normally the search of personal peace and spiritual renewal is related with the search of God. To me, this is absolutely true. I believe that if we want to be well and feel spiritual wellness, we must search for God.

However, not everybody in the world thinks like me. Thus this search for spirituality is different to each person and for that there are many religions in the world. This has been the cause of world division, due to different beliefs.

The religions have been created to help and guide spiritually to people with respect to God. However, many religions help people but also take advantage of those who are faithful. For example, the Catholic Church, in which nowadays there has been discovered many cases of sexual abuse performed by priests and the evangelical church that demands large amounts of tithes.

Other important aspect to note is the case of Sir that is named Jesus Christ man. I think that man is absolutely wrong and the people that follow are more wrong yet. Will these people never read the bible? Don’t they know that we are in the recent times and that they are being deceived by antichrist, like he is named.

Finally, I believe that is important to think a few in who we believe in. No religion is perfect, but I believe that more important than having a religion or to believe in what priests and pastors say or do, because they can fail, is to have a relationship with God and with this renewal our spirit day by day.

The perfect crime (The film)

This film presents a dangerous reality which is important rescue. Among the subjects that we can rescue of the film are, deception, revenge, lie and proud. These behaviors are cause of many currently social problems.

We saw in the film that the deception was a cause of a sequence of conflict. If we pass this context of the film to real life, we can see how the deception between couples, destroys marriage, affect them and also the children (if they have). Therefore, not only exist deceptions between couples, also there are between friends, children with parents or others. It also can provoke other problems.

Repercussions of this are the lies, which are the first that we say after a mistake. Therefore, sooner or later the true is discovered. The other person when know the true, could react of two ways, the first is assume it with maturity and the second is try to get revenge, this like consequence of the person proud.

Finally no one of the two people won in this case. All of this that happened was consequence of the deception. This problem is common in the society, for that I believe that film like this provoke that we think in the bad consequences that can bring the deception. Like deceive the person that we love and deceive ourselves.

The law of the few and the power of context

Is incredible how a message can transmitted in seconds through a person, without requiring a communication mean. This person is named connector. Gladwel call this phenomenon “The law of the few”. But I think that isn’t “the law of the few” instead “the law of many”. Because each person in the society is a connector. When the people pass a message to other person, it becomes a connector. The people can talk a lot about some topics among them, and this topics can become popular if the context of message is effective. Due to “the law of many”, often the publicity isn’t necessary. Instead it is more efficient to transmit a message to a connector, and if the message has a good context it can be transmitted easily from person to person.

Dear Sir\Madame

The last week was the week of intelligent environments. I attended to a dental activity, it was about smart dental offices. In this activity the speaker talked about the Ray X equipment. This equipment is very innovative, it is small and does not occupy much space.

In ULACIT we use conventional equipment, these occupy much space and the developing process is manual, because students need learn this process.

This equipment is expensive, but however is a good investment for our clinic in future. I liked this activity, I learn about this technology in dentistry.

Law of attraction

Most people maybe don’t know that a law of attraction exists and think that what happens in the life is because so must be. Maybe they never have thought that everything that happens is product of your behavior. According of a law of attraction this is because our behavior and our decisions will affect our future directly.

If we think positively to a specific circumstance of the day, the result of this will be good. For example, today I have to do my test drive, if I think that I am not going to achieve because I am nervous or simply because I believe that I am not going to achieve, I am attracting this to me, so is probably that I don’t pass the test. But if I see the test like a challenge, in which I know and believe that I can win it, I am attracting to me.

Due this law of attraction and others examples like the previously explained, is that exists different personalities. Just as we can see a person that always is nice who the majority of situations will turn out well, we can see a moody person who normally not going well in life. These two situations are product of character, decisions and thinking because these attract different situations for our like, can be good, bad or moderate.

In my opinion the law of attraction is completely true. I am clear that our thinking produce our future, if we think that we will have a good result in an exam and indeed we obtain it, if we desire a pair of shoes and we obtain it. Therefore if we have a bad feeling or we are thinking about a bad situation, is better out it of our minds because our future may depend of that, can be in long or short term.

Super Size meals

Most people in the world in some moment of the life have consumed junk food. Is true that is satisfactory and desirable for us eat this kind of food, but also is true that it isn’t a cheap food here in Costa Rica. Also the restaurants use toys to attract the children attention.

The restaurants spend a lot of money in advertising for get more profit in theirs business, always thinking in obtain more customers compared with others restaurants. Usually the restaurants ignore that their food cause diseases and overweight, by the amount of fat contained in the food, such as super size meals.

Like we saw in the movie, these meals have consequences in our lifes, we can suffer diseases like overweight, hypertension, and so on. These diseases are caused by the amount of fat consumed. Another important aspect that we saw in the movie is that when a person usually feel the necessity of eat this kind of food is an addicction symptom.

Since years ago the trend have been consume this kind of food, mainly because people usually don’t have time to eat good, but we should not be hectic to consume continually these food, we should have more care with our body and health. And also we know that the overweight would cause others psychological problems or others diseases.

Drug Addictions...

Drug addictions

When we think in addictions, our minds think in cigarettes and alcohol, however, we also could be addicted to Internet, cell phones or video games. Likewise we sometimes use drugs like a medical therapy, and these can lead to an addiction.

One of these drugs is morphine, which is a drug used to inhibit the sensitive receptors that produce a lot of pain in any part of body. This drug when is ingested by the person, the person feel relief and at the same time the person feels completely inhibited.

With this drug the person is in a state of sedation which becomes nice to the person. So every time that they feel pain use it this treatment. But a cause of addiction is an increase in a dose to relieve the pain quickly, causing great damage in a body.

Finally, we can see how something that starts like a therapeutic recommendation can become an addiction to the patient. Therefore health specialists we should have total control about dose of drugs that they send, to avoid this kind of addictions that are as important and dangerous as other addictions.

Is it better lie?

For many people a lie is defined like the better form to get out of a problem or some situation. In which it is easy to say something unreal instead of the truth. According to the dictionary a lie is when a person say or manifest the opposite of what we know, believe or think.

A lie can have various meaning for each of us. About whether or not person like to lie, regardless of what they think about this, it must be clear that the lie is a deceive ourselves. If we don’t have the ability to be honest, no matter what the truth really is, at least we should be responsible for the lies we say.

Is true that each of us in some moment of our life have to said lies to our parents, professor, friends, boyfriend or husband, mainly because sometimes is better say a ‘white lie’ and with that avoid a problem. But we know that noone lie is white and that between sky and land nothing is hidden, so in some moment the lie can be uncovered.

Finally, if we think in some problem that we have had previously, we can see that maybe the cause of the problem were a lie, and to cover that lie we said other lie and that finished in a bigger problem, always we have to pay for the lies, for that reason we have to select between say a lie or be honest. In my opinion be honest is better that say a lie and that make we feel better.
